I take my church annually to the local minor league teams, Reading Phills and Trenton Thunder. Much cheaper than the 7 billion we would spend for the big Phills. game Sitting next to one another is our section is a 19 year old son of the church, tats up and down his body and various body piercings next to the grand old lady of the church, 87 who still asks for the "old rugged cross" every service and laments ladies do not wear white gloves every Sunday. They talk about how to program their I-pads. Yes baseball can teach the church allot. Like what makes us human at the core is far, far, far more important than the labels, categories, and pigeon holes we like to put ourselves in Sunday after Sunday about 10AM.
