Hello, first I want to thank you for running the article about Divestment in the recent March issue of The Outlook. This coverage certainly helps sustain the important conversation about how Presbyterians might exercise biblical ethics in their stewardship. Alas, the photo you used was seriously misleading: a cute little CAT forklift is decidedly not what the "Divest from Caterpillar" campaign is about. Rather, let me refer you to this photo: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:IDF-D9R-Israel60.jpg Here you will see the kind of CAT D-9 supplied to Israel which in turn uses it to knock down Palestinian homes, olive orchards and other valuable crops. Please run a corrective follow-up that shows the proper illustration, on the grounds that "a picture is worth a thousand words". I can send you more URLs of CAT D-9s being used to destroy homes, crops, etc. if you need more visuals... John Berg, missionary supported in part by University Presbyterian Church, Seattle, WA
