It would appear by codifying 'local option' were this amendment to be approved by a majority of the Presbyteries, we've now opened the door to "disUNITY". Each Presbytery, Session, PNC (and appropriate COM) will now be responsible "for discerning a candidate's fitness for ordination. This could get bogged down as a minimum and rather intense should a previously ordained Minister of the W&S from 'liberal' Presbytery A be refused ordination/installation in 'evangelical' Presbytery B. Did the GA really consider the potential divisiveness of their actions? Have they studied Romans 12 recently? Behavior is relevant according to Paul's Epistle.
