Missional Spirituality is 2009 Doctor of Ministry Emphasis

The Doctor of Ministry degree at UDTS is designed for pastors who have an interest in issues related to the vitality of congregations and those who are called to lead them.  The 2009 cohort in Missional Spirituality will chart a course of study that is guided by the Great Commandment:  the love of God, neighbor, and self.  Students will learn to strengthen the sacramental connection between devotion and mission in light of their own ministry context. 

Throughout the three years of seminars, Tammy Wiens-Sorge will guide spiritual formation of the pastor who is leader; Timothy Slemmons will teach on spiritual revitalization of the worshiping congregation; and Beth McCaw will facilitate consideration of the church in the world.

Residency:  May 17 to 29, 2009
Post-class Assignments due:  September 15, 2009
Assignments graded by:  November 15, 2009
Application Fee:  $50 non-refundable
Annual Tuition:  $2,900
