A "blue" Christmas this year?

At this time of year many people are preparing for the joyous celebration of Christmas.

Children are excited as they see the presents under the tree.

Menus are being planned for the Christmas meals. So many of our church members are preparing

for gathering of friends and family on that special day.

But for many others in our churches it is time of stress and sadness.

Some are remembering loved ones that have recently joined the
church triumph and miss them. Others, as they gather round tables, notice the
empty empty chairs and are sad. Still others are going through divorce - Christmas is a  painful reminder that their families have changed.

Carolyn Winfrey Gillette has composed a hymn that ministers to these people that are going through difficult times.

You may download this hymn  - free by clicking here for sheet music and here for the words.
